My graduate work was in bronze casting and welding. I loved the immediacy of the welding process - direct and fast! This is quite the opposite of the ceramic process of the delayed reward. And yet I enjoyed the process of lost wax bronze casting. Process has always been important to me as can clearly be seen in my paintings, which require multiple processes.
